T.H.E. FARM at Strongwater is a (501)(c)(3) non-profit organization providing therapeutic equestrian programs for
the clients of the Tewksbury Hospital, as well as public riding programs and special events to individuals of all
abilities.
As part of the 800 acre historical Tewksbury Hospital campus, T.H.E. FARM is located 20 miles north of Boston situated
amid agricultural fields and surrounded by miles of wooded trails.

Therapeutic riding for physically and mentally challenged children and adults; therapeutic vaulting, riding lessons
for able bodied individuals, boarding, imported warmblood horses for sale. Individuals with all different disabilities,
ages and backgrounds enjoy the professional lessons on carefully selected horses. Helped by numerous volunteers,
the students can learn how to groom, saddle and ride a horse. Through games, obstacle courses, trail rides and
vaulting, our riders learn skills that will improve their outlook on life. The Therapeutic Riding program depends
HEAVILY on volunteers. They are the backbone and we could not provide the lessons without their help. |
